How To Create An Auto Welcome Tweet?

Automated Welcome Tweets

  • Select the Audience Section of the Twitter profile from where you would like to set a Welcome Tweet.

  • From the Activity menu on the left side, under Compass dropdown menu, select Welcome Tweet.

  • Check the box that says 'Enable Welcome Tweet'

  • Write the Tweet text in the box. Make sure you insert the required variable, {twitter_handle} within your Tweet. This variable would later get replaced with the Twitter name of your New Follower.

  • Click Add and then select the number of maximum tweets in a day.

For example,  '{twitter_handle} it’s a pleasure to connect with you. Thank you for the follow.'

will be tweeted as -

'@alex_10 it’s a pleasure to connect with you. Thank you for the follow.'

 

Create a Welcome Tweet

 

  • Visit the Audience section for the Twitter profile from where you’d like to set a Welcome Tweet.

  • Tap the Automate button at the top right corner of the screen, just beside the 3 dot menu

  • Select Tweet at the top bar.

  • Select the Create button at the bottom right of the screen.

  • Write the text for your Welcome Tweet. For example, '{twitter_handle} thank you for the follow'. Make sure you use the token {twitter_handle} in your Tweet'. This token will get replaced with the user’s Twitter handle in real time.   

  • Tap on the Save icon, at the top right corner of the screen, to enable your Welcome Tweet.

Create a Welcome Tweet

 

For example,

'Hello {name} hope you’re doing well. What are you working on at the moment?'

will get replaced as

'Hello Alex Gilbert hope you’re doing well. What are you working on at the moment?'  

Create a Welcome DM

 

  • Visit the Audience section for the Twitter profile from where you’d like to set a Welcome Tweet.

  • Tap Automate from the 4 options at the bottom of the screen.

  • Select Welcome Tweet option from the menu.

  • Select Add New Welcome Tweet at the bottom of the screen.

  • Write the text for your Welcome Tweet . For example, {twitter_handle} thank you for the follow.

  • Make sure you use the token - {twitter_handle} in your Tweet. This token will get replaced with the user’s Twitter handle in real time.  

  • Tap Save at the top right corner of the screen.
