How To Set Automated Welcome Direct Message On Twitter?

Automated Twitter DMs

Automated DMs are direct messages that you can create to be sent from your Twitter profile. They are automatically sent to users when they follow you. Welcome DMs are a great way of connecting with your New Followers with a personal touch.

To set Automated Direct Message:  

"welcome_dm"

 

  • Login to your Statusbrew account by visiting https://statusbrew.com.

  • Select the Audience Section of the profile from where you would like to set a Welcome DM

  • From the drop-down menu on the left, under Compass, select Welcome DM.

  • Check the box that says 'Enable Welcome DM'

  • Write the text in the box. You may use single or multiple variables from the following list. The variables would be replaced as follows:

  1. {twitter_handle} will be replaced by user’s Twitter handle. For example @alex_10.
  2. {name} will be replaced by user’s profile name. For example, Alex Gilbert.
  3. {first_name} will be replaced by user’s first name. For example, Alex.
  4. {last_name} will be replaced by user’s last name. For example, Gilbert.
  • After this, click on Add.

'Hello {name} hope you’re doing well. What are you working on at the moment?'

will be sent as - 

'Hello Alex Gilbert hope you’re doing well. What are you working on at the moment?'

  • Visit the Audience section for the Twitter profile from where you’d like to set a Welcome DM.

  • Tap on the Automate button on the top right of the screen just beside the 3 dot menu.

  • Select DM from the two options in the top bar.

  • Select the Create button at the bottom right corner of the screen.

  • Write the text in the box. You may use one or multiple tokens from the following list:

  1. {twitter_handle} to fit user’s Twitter handle. For example @alex_10
  2. {name} to fit user’s profile name. For example, Alex Gilbert
  3. {first_name} to fit user’s first name. For example, Alex
  4. {last_name} to fit user’s last name. For example, Gilbert
  • After this, Select the Save button at the top right corner of the screen.

For example,

'Hello {name} hope you’re doing well. What are you working on at the moment?'

will get replaced as

'Hello Alex Gilbert hope you’re doing well. What are you working on at the moment?'  

Create a Welcome DM

 

  • Visit the Audience section for the Twitter profile from where you’d like to set a Welcome Tweet.

  • Select Automate form the 4 options given at the base of the screen

  • Select Welcome DM option from the menu.

  • Select the Add New Welcome DM from the bottom of the screen.

  • Write the text in the box. You may use one or multiple token from the following list to add in your message:

  1. {twitter_handle} to fit user’s Twitter handle. For example @alex_10
  2. {name} to fit user’s profile name. For example, Alex Gilbert
  3. {first_name} to fit user’s first name. For example, Alex
  4. {last_name} to fit user’s last name. For example, Gilbert
  • After this, Select the Save button at the top right corner of the screen.

For example,

'Hello {name} hope you’re doing well. What are you working on at the moment?'

will be sent as - 

'Hello Alex Gilbert hope you’re doing well. What are you working on at the moment?'
