Creating a Post

Statusbrew helps you create content and schedule it ahead of time for all your social channels in one go! So you always have your social media planned, without any mess!

You can choose any platform (Web/Android/iOS) to create and schedule your post. Follow the steps given below for each of the platforms:

On Web

  1. Login to your Statusbrew account. You will be redirected to your Dashboard

  2. From the Dashboard, click on the Publish icon from the left side nav

  3. Find the Create Post section from the top nav

  4. Click on  to choose the profiles you want to schedule your posts to

  5. Now, type your post content or paste the text you want to share. Also, you can add your images or GIFs to your post

  6. In case you don’t have a relevant image, you may use our exclusive Media Libraries. We have the integrations from Giphy, Pixabay and Unsplash which will help you to find the right image or GIF for your content

  7. If your post contains a URL, you may use choose to shorten it using bit.ly. The shortened URLs will not only help you to track your content reach, but also enhance your click-through rates.

    For Facebook, LinkedIn and Google+, a link preview will be generated. Once a link preview is generated, you may wish to remove the link from your post content. It will be posted as a link post.

  8. Next, you can choose to schedule your post from one of the options below:

    Send Now: Your post will be published to all the selected social channels immediately.

    Custom Time: You can choose to schedule your post for a future date time. You can see all your scheduled posts in the Planner.

    Schedule Category: You can choose to schedule your post from already created Schedule Categories. Your post will be scheduled according to the next available time as per your selected Category.

  9. If you choose Custom Time or  Category, click Save button to add it to your Planner queue. If you wish to publish your content immediately, click Send Now button.

You can see how your content will look like on the respective social media handle in Preview column, on the right side of your screen.

Android

  1. Login to your Statusbrew account on the Android app

  2. Tap on the Publish  icon from the bottom nav of your app dashboard

  3. Tap the Create Post  on the bottom right

  4. Tap icon to choose profiles on which you want to schedule the content. Once you select your profiles, tap DONE on the top right

  5. Next, write your message or paste your content

  6. You can also choose to upload the images from your Camera/Gallery/Media Libraries.

  7. If your post contains URL, you can choose to enable the URL shortener using the icon .

  8. Tap Next.

  9. Now, you can either add a custom date time or choose an already created Category. Or, you may choose to publish your post now

  10. Tap Share.

iOS

  1. Login to your Statusbrew account on the iOS app

  2. Tap on the Create Post icon from the first section of the Dashboard

  3. Tap icon to choose profiles on which you want to schedule the content. Once you select your profiles, tap Done on the top right

  4. Next, write your message or paste your content

  5. You can also choose to upload the images from your Camera/Photo Library/Media Library

  6. If your post contains URL, you can choose to enable the URL shortener using the icon

  7. Tap Next.

  8. Now, you can either add a custom date time or choose an already created Category. Or, you may choose to publish your post now

  9. Tap Share.

Your posts will be posted automatically according to the assigned schedule.

Note: For Instagram profiles, no third party apps are allowed to post directly. So, you receive publishing reminders on your connected mobile device to post the scheduled Instagram content.

Once you have scheduled a post, you can always make further changes to it from the Planner, before it gets published.
